The key feature and advantage of Strategilization is that the player doesn't need to manually perform every action. What you need to do is just to draw your strategic orders on the appropriate map layer, and then your people will start working to fulfil them.

There are the following strategies:

  • Exploration strategy - specify in what sequence should you uncover the hexes which are under the fog of war;
  • Rural region expansion strategy - specify which hexes should be added to your food or production region, what terrain improvements must be built there, what improvements must be upgraded;
  • Territory development - specify what terrain buildings must be built in your zone of visibility, which ones to upgrade, and should you direct production flows to your rural regions to help their development;
  • City development - what building should be built and upgraded in the city, and up to what level
  • Ideas support - what ideas support, and what ideas to counteract in your and your rivals' cities and regions
  • Resources flows - how to drive the labor and food flows between your cities and rural regions
  • Military strategy - how to distribute your military points on your territory and where to attack and defend

So, instead of long and tedious process of entering the city, ordering a unit, waiting for the unit to be built, and then moving this unit to the required place on the map turn by turn, you only need to draw the signs on the map and spectate how your citizen begin following your high-level orders.

Even more: you can automate the process of giving new orders by assigning a manager to each of the strategy.
